In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Bonus Content
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-themed costume for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe
- Special weapons
- Survey Corps mount
Newest Free Story Addition
This patch also introduces the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery."
