The European Union might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it calls “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the United States against five Europeans working on combating online hate and disinformation, an EU official stated.

European Leaders Decry US Move as ‘Intimidation’

European leaders including Emmanuel Macron accused Washington of “coercion and intimidation”, after the travel bans were placed on figures who have been at the heart of efforts to enact legislation governing US-based technology firms.
